Terry Woodcock (Magnox SMLO) From HPA contacted UniTech to help solve a big problem he had. Terry needed a Class 7 shipment loaded at HPA and delivered to DNA ASAP. The load consisted of 2 pumping Skids used to Retrieve ILW resins and sludges from settling tanks. They had to be sent as SCO II so required to be packaged in an IP2 container and due to their size only a full height ISO container fitted the bill.
UniTech supplied within 24 hours a 20ft full height ISO for the site to load with shipping items and then Unitech collected and delivered to DNA within the agreed time using an articulated vehicle a Scania R450 tractor unit with a flatbed 14m trailer with twist locks and class 7 RCA Cleared driver.
On completion of the project Terry stated that it was “super job with a first class service”
